About the Superwash DK Collection The base for this line is a 4-ply DK-weight shrink-treated merino lambswool. This high quality 100% wool yarn is also machine washable, which makes it convenient for mittens, hats, and children's garments. The colorway names for this line are inspired by foods - Candy Apple, Eggplant, Meyer Lemon, Jellybean 100% washable merino lambswool 90 grams / 220 yards 5 to 5.5 stitches per inch US size 5-7 needle (3.75 to 4.5mm) Care Instructions: Machine wash, tumble dry low. For best results lay flat to dry. Launder dark colors separately.
